Clip a page into a project
Save selected text, a page address, and your own note from Chrome or Firefox.
Before you start: Rabbit Trail Capture installed in your browser and a configured hub or desktop destination.
Step by step
Choose the destination
Open Rabbit Trail Capture. Under Save to, choose Project Hub or Desktop app.
Connect the destination
For a hub, enter its HTTPS address and a Browser clipping API key, then select a permitted project. For desktop on the same computer, enable Settings → Continuity → Accept connections, use http://127.0.0.1:47120, and enter its pairing code. Choose Connect and allow access to that destination.
Capture the source
Select useful text on a web page and open the extension. Check the displayed title and selected passage, add an optional note, and choose Keep page and selection.
File the arrival
Open the destination project’s Inbox and read the clip. Place it on a board when it is ready to become part of the investigation.
