Step by step

1. Tap a word in the passage.

   A quick tap opens its word card when a matching Hebrew or Greek entry is available. The card shows the original word, its form, meaning, and translation information. Hold or select passage text when you want to highlight it instead.

2. Find other passages using that word.

   Open In the Bible in the word card. Scroll through the matching passages and choose one to read it. The card stays within the screen as the list grows.

3. Open one verse word by word.

   Hold its verse number on a phone, or right-click the number on a computer. Interlinear shows the Hebrew or Greek words beside their English meanings. A normal tap on the verse number still selects the verse.

4. Open the whole chapter.

   Choose the Interlinear button beside the chapter title. Tap an English word to light up its matching original word, or open an original word’s card for more detail.

5. Choose whether to show the chapter button.

   Open Settings → Reading and change Show the Interlinear button. This choice is saved. Holding a verse number still opens that verse even when the chapter button is hidden.
